Location: Salem, NH
Salary: $65,000-70,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM

What’s a typical day as Staff Accountant? You’ll be:
-
Assisting an international facility with vouchering, vendor inquiries, and statement reconciliations
-
Backing up the AP Specialist with daily accounts payable operations
-
Coding and entering AP overhead invoices for multiple sites
-
Reconciling vendor statements and monitoring accounts to ensure payments are current
-
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
-
Corresponding with vendors, handling inquiries, and supporting cash management processes (check runs, wires, reconciliations)
-
Collaborating with the AR Specialist on AR agings and collections, and identifying AR problems for the Account Manager
-
Performing bank statement reconciliations and basic journal entries
-
Assisting with projects and providing backup to other accounting functions as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Hold a minimum 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
-
Have 3+ years of general accounting experience
-
Demonstrate knowledge of general accounting procedures and proficiency in data entry and time management

Possess hands-on experience in an electrical component manufacturing environment

Are familiar with Infor Syteline
-
Are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a team-focused environment
