Full job description
Why Harvey At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.
Role Overview We’re hiring a Manager, Learning & Certification Architecture to define how customers learn Harvey and to build the system that produces that learning at scale. You’ll own the learning and certification strategy across Harvey Academy, the Help Center and in-product education: who we teach, what each persona needs to be able to do, and which format fits each learning problem. Harvey ships new product every week, so you’ll also design the agentic workflows that draft content from product sources, set the quality bar and review steps every piece passes before it publishes. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll build content yourself while guiding a team of learning experience designers and a certification developer.
What You'll Do
-
Build a leveled, persona-based curriculum for associates, partners, knowledge managers, in-house counsel and administrators, with clear outcomes and assessments from first use to certified practitioner.
-
Define what Harvey certification means: competencies, exam design, pass standards, recertification, and how credentials are issued and verified.
-
Diagnose each learning need, choose the right format (Help Center article, in-product walkthrough, video, course or exam), and produce content yourself in writing, video and audio.
-
Design the agentic production workflows, including the instructional standards the agents are built on and the review gates and rubrics content must pass before it publishes.
-
Own publishing, maintenance and localization across surfaces, working with Engineering and Localization so each product release reaches every asset it affects.
-
Guide the designers and certification developer, and work with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support and Legal Engineering on release readiness and learning success metrics.
What You Have
-
5+ years in learning experience design, instructional design or learning architecture for a technical product, including 2+ years leadership experience.
-
A track record of building a leveled, persona-based curriculum or certification program from scratch, including competency models, assessments and pass standards.
-
Hands-on production skill in at least two of: long-form writing, video or audio.
-
Fluency with AI tools in your own work, and experience designing workflows where models draft and people review.
-
Experience running a CMS (e.g., Sanity) and and an LMS (e.g. Skilljar), and using learning data to set priorities and measure results.
-
Experience teaching lawyers or other professionals, or familiarity with CLE accreditation, is a plus.
Compensation $140,000 - $180,000 USD
