Plant Manager / Director of Operations York, PA | Onsite | Relocation assistance available Compensation: $140,000–$150,000

We are seeking an experienced manufacturing operations leader to oversee day-to-day operations for a growing, approximately 75-person contract manufacturing organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving accountability, improving processes, developing managers, and keeping production running efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Lead approximately 10–15 managers and supervisors across Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Project Management, Inventory/Warehouse and related functions.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and drive day-to-day execution and accountability.
  • Monitor KPIs including throughput, efficiency, quality/defect rates, lead times and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee labor utilization, purchasing, inventory, materials and vendor performance.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, workflow optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Engineering and Project Management to resolve production issues and meet customer requirements and deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership, including experience leading managers/supervisors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field required.
  • Experience in a hands-on assembly manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean/5S, KPIs, production planning, quality, inventory and resource management.
  • Familiarity with electrical/electromechanical components, controls, wiring, schematics or similar products strongly preferred.
  • ERP/MRP experience; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong people leader who can bring structure and accountability while maintaining a positive culture.
