Full-Time Groundskeeper

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Full-Time Groundskeeper. The Full-Time Groundskeeper creates and maintains the appearance of college grounds and building's exterior. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Education/Training/Work Experience: 1. High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of work-related experience required 2. Valid PA Driver's License required Specialized Knowledge & Skills: 1. Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description 2. Must work outdoors in all types of weather 3. Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate tractors, mowers, dump trucks, and snow removal equipment 4. Must be able to communicate effectively 5. Acquiring and maintaining PA Pesticide License Category 23 throughout employment Additional Information Required: 1. Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions 2. Ability to work within a team-oriented setting Physical Requirements: 1. Must have a good sense of balance; required to work at various heights. 2. Moderate physical strength is required. 3. Common outdoor allergies should not inhibit job performance.
