This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13628560 The Child Placing Agency Training & Licensing Specialist recruits new foster families through networking and established community contacts as well as training new foster families. Full-Time Position Overview: - Identifies and follows up on potential contacts for prospective foster parents within the same day or if received after hours, on the next business day - Assists prospective foster and adoptive families in enrolling for DT classes - Conducts Deciding Together (DT) classes for prospective foster and adoptive families - Assists family with obtaining fingerprints and out of state checks if needed - Collects all required DT paperwork from prospective families - Completes DT Leaders Summary and Recommendations - Provides support to prospective foster families
