About the Role
As a Pega Lead System Architect, you will make an impact by architecting and optimizing enterprise-grade Pega platforms for process analysis and advanced reporting, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions that support payer domain operations. You will be a valued member of the Pega Architecture and Delivery team and work collaboratively with clients, business stakeholders, healthcare domain experts, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital process automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across global markets.
In This Role, You Will

Lead the architecture, analysis, design, and delivery of Pega PRPC and related workflow applications while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business objectives.

Interact with clients and business stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements and provide technical and architectural solutions.

Lead a team of Pega professionals and oversee the delivery of interfaces, integrations, and workflow solutions supporting healthcare operations.

Create Pega architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution artifacts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Monitor interfaces and 834 files to ensure data accuracy, operational effectiveness, and successful integration with legacy healthcare systems.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

10-15 years of experience in analysis, system design, development, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.

Strong expertise in Pega Business Rules, Pega PRPC, related workflow applications, and Pega support models.

Experience leading architecture, design, and delivery of Pega solutions integrated with legacy healthcare systems.

Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.

Healthcare domain experience, preferably within payer environments.

Experience with process analysis, advanced reporting, and digital process automation initiatives.

Experience leading teams of Pega professionals and managing complex enterprise implementations.

Experience supporting interfaces, integrations, and 834 file processing.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
