A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Business Intelligence Platforms, you will lead the development and implementation of business platforms that ensure high-quality, innovative, and market-leading products. You will be responsible for overseeing platform architecture, driving excellence initiatives, managing the data portfolio, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships, oversee portfolio resource management, and handle financial management and reporting to enhance product offerings and capabilities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and develop a global team of architects, developers, DBAs, DevOps engineers responsible for business applications and platforms.

  • Drive the strategic direction, modernization, and adoption of Oracle technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, and related enterprise platforms.

  • Establish and govern application, data, cloud, and integration architectures that ensure scalability, security, reliability, and long-term sustainability of business-critical solutions.

  • Deliver high-quality IT services and projects by fostering a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and service organizations to understand business priorities and translate them into digital solutions that create measurable value.

  • Drive platform modernization initiatives, cloud transformation, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.

  • Ensure effective governance of project delivery, budgets, risks, compliance requirements, and vendor engagements while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Build strong partnerships across regions and business functions to enable collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution of global initiatives.

  • Attract, develop, coach, and retain top talent by fostering an inclusive, high-performing team environment and supporting career growth.

  • Promote Agile ways of working and cultivating a culture of accountability, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, and architectural governance principles while maintaining a sustainable and scalable product landscape.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer science, Business Administration, or a comparable field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in an IT-driven role, including 3+ years of leadership experience managing multinational teams, with a strong focus on Oracle-based applications, solution delivery, or enterprise application transformation.

  • Strong strategic understanding of Project Execution and Service business processes related Oracle-based applications, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), APEX, Oracle Database, Java applications, DevOps, data architecture, and enterprise application modernization.

  • Ability to balance business value, delivery speed, quality, and platform constraints, adapt to change, and remain effective in a dynamic global environment.

  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies (including Agile and Lean practices), and experience with product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership and networking skills, including executive stakeholder management, cross-cultural collaboration, and the ability to work across organizational boundaries.

  • Fluent English communication skills for working effectively in an international environment; willingness to travel as required.

You will join the Cross - Functional Platforms (GS DS AS CP) organization, which enables the Gas Services business through business applications, data platforms, analytics solutions, Oracle ecosystems, and enterprise digital capabilities. Our organization partners closely with Business stakeholders, Process owners, Business Partners, and delivery teams to provide reliable services, drive digital transformation, strengthen operational excellence, and deliver measurable business value.
