City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Rotating Overview:

Supervisor, Supply Chain

Sentara is hiring for a Supervisor, Supply Chain!

This is a fully onsite position, supporting project in the Blue Ridge (Charlottesville or Harrisonburg). Home office will be in the facility closest to candidate's home. Position requires travel to all of these 4 Sentara locations (Northern Virginia, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, and Halifax). Requires on site participation and during an install, requires 5 days per week on site at one of the above facilities.

Reports to the Supply Chain Manager of the applicable hospital and oversees daily operational activities of supply chain associates in areas of inventory management and receiving. The supervisor will represent Supply Chain with the respective hospital leadership in conjunction and in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager.

Trains, coaches, mentors and supervises all Supply Chain Associate I & II. Creates and maintains a work schedule for Supply Chain Associates that ensures hospital needs are meet as it related to the distribution of products managed under Supply Chain. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectation. Assist in the training and development of a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers.

Acts as department lead when necessary. Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Supports and communicates Sentara mission, values, and goals.

Education

  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

  • Required to have five years of Supply Chain Management experience
  • Preferred to have three years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with Par Excellence preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $65,603.20 - $103,979.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
