Overview
Auburn University is excited to begin the search for an Administrator of Outreach Programs!
The administrator in this position manages, facilitates, and participates in course development projects and the development of instructional materials. Collaborates with faculty, instructors, and subject matter experts to design and develop interactive online courses. Researches and utilizes the most up-to-date practices and technologies related to instructional design and online learning applications. Gathers feedback from stakeholders to continually update and improve course design and content. Develops and coordinates outreach programs for targeted groups; assesses program needs, organizes program material; evaluates program success. Acts as project manager in planning and coordinating activities to support a specific program.

Responsibilities

Creates course content and development for Canvas Catalog and acts as Project Manager in planning and coordinating activities for all Canvas Catalog Programs.

Assists instructors in creating online courses for Canvas Catalog and provides training for instructors regarding Best Practices for Course Development. Creates and work with instructors to create appropriate assessments for learners, ensuring all materials align with stated course objectives.

Conducts course reviews and recommends development and/or redevelopment based on user comments and assessments.

Works with university colleagues and program owners to identify ways to facilitate online programs, including but not limited to registration and reporting processes. Develops and maintains database for tracking and reporting registrations to university and program partners.

Creates reports containing quantitative and qualitative registration data and assessments results for program owners, instructors, BIGGIO Center, and department head on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis as required.

creates and maintains current contracts and agreements with instructors and program owners.

Provides invoicing program partners for Canvas Catalog fees and development services. Prepares invoice requests to distribute registration proceeds according to agreements.

Works with Marketing and assists in development of marketing plans and publicity materials for advertising and promotion of programs as required.

Serves as the outreach contact for WCAG2.0 requirements ensuring all online materials are fully accessible per university mandate. Also works with IT to develop and maintain websites for programs as required.

Provides customer service and telephone support for Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MYCAA) and CCI students and potential students by answering calls from potential and existing students. Maintains and reports grades and tracks extensions for MYCAA program

Serves as the backup for signing ETPs, pulling FAs, and reporting to Department Head. Obtains records and authorizations from AI Portal.

Minimum License and Certification:
- Valid driver’s license
Please Note: A Master's degree may be required for positions requiring specialized knowledge.
Substitution allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
