ENG Technician I

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking an ENG Technician I to join their team. As an ENG Technician I, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges.

• Support Quality Engineers in First Article Inspections (FAI) and process validations to ensure product quality and compliance.

• Collect and analyze quality data, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.

• Conduct Gage R&R studies, capability studies (Cp, Cpk), and support measurement system analysis to improve inspection processes.

• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for internal and external nonconformances.

What's Needed?

• Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges.

• Knowledge of quality standards including ISO 9001 and AS9100.

• Ability to support inspection activities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to work onsite in Clarkston, GA, during standard business hours (8AM to 5PM).
