Job Category:Academic Staff Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Assistant Professor (CHS) Job Summary: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin is recruiting an exceptional Pediatric Inpatient Acute Care Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized Division of Cardiology. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and interest in education as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. This position is being offered with two vacancies. One vacancy includes a portion of time dedicated to taking on the role of the Director of Pediatric Inpatient Acute Care Cardiology. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in clinical care and a commitment to patient- and family-centered practice. Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment. Candidates should have a commitment to education, quality improvement, and collaborative care. This position is full or part-time, 50%-100%. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
