Job Description:

The Role:

Entegris is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to lead portfolio governance, demand management, and delivery oversight for strategic technology and digital transformation initiatives.

This leader will partner closely with business and technology executives to ensure investments are aligned to company priorities, appropriately funded and resourced, and delivered in a predictable manner. This leader will establish the processes and governance required to move initiatives efficiently from idea through execution and value realization while driving transparency, accountability, and business outcomes across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines strong portfolio and program leadership experience with the ability to influence executive decision-making, lead organizational change, and improve the effectiveness of enterprise technology investments.

This position reports directly to the Chief Information & Digital Officer. It will be based local to one of our hubs, ideally in Chaska, MN, Bedford, MA, or Aurora, IL.

What You'll Do:

Enterprise Portfolio Leadership & Governance

Lead the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), establishing portfolio management, governance, and delivery practices that enable successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Oversee enterprise portfolio governance, prioritization, funding, and investment decision-making to ensure alignment with business objectives and organizational capacity.

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on portfolio strategy, investment priorities, risks, and tradeoffs.

Demand Management & Portfolio Prioritization

Own the enterprise demand management process, providing a transparent framework for evaluating, prioritizing, and approving technology and digital investments.

Lead the end-to-end portfolio lifecycle from intake and business case development through execution and value realization.

Develop portfolio metrics and reporting that provide visibility into demand, capacity, delivery performance, and investment outcomes.

Resource Planning & Portfolio Optimization

Lead enterprise-wide capacity planning and resource forecasting to balance demand, funding, and organizational readiness.

Facilitate executive decision-making regarding investment priorities, resource allocation, and portfolio tradeoffs.

Continuously evaluate portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to maximize business value and delivery effectiveness.

Strategic Program Oversight

Provide executive oversight for large-scale, cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives.

Ensure effective risk management, governance, financial stewardship, and delivery

Executive Reporting & Value Realization

Provide executive leadership with a consolidated view of portfolio performance, investment health, risks, and realized business value.

Establish value realization measures and drive continuous improvement across portfolio management, governance, and delivery practices.

Organizational Leadership & PMO Maturity

Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of portfolio management professionals.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while advancing portfolio management capabilities across the enterprise.

Champion organizational change management and PMO best practices to improve adoption, efficiency, and business outcomes.

What We Seek:

Demonstrated success leading an Enterprise PMO, Portfolio Management Office, or comparable function within a complex global organization.

Extensive experience managing strategic technology portfolios, enterprise transformation initiatives, and portfolio governance processes.

Strong expertise in demand management, prioritization, resource planning, investment management, and value realization.

Deep understanding of portfolio, program, project, Agile, and product delivery methodologies.

Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and build strong partnerships across business and technology functions.

Strong business and financial acumen, including business case development, budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.

Demonstrated success leading organizational change, improving operating models, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Broad understanding of enterprise business processes and supporting technologies across key functional areas.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

Master's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in portfolio, program, or project management.

Experience leading enterprise portfolios and large-scale digital or business transformation initiatives.

Experience transforming PMO organizations and advancing portfolio management maturity.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent.

Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business value through technology investments and operational excellence.

Compensation: $186,500 - $266,500 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
