Endoscopy Technician-Per Diem

The Endoscopy Technician prepares, maintains, and operates specialized equipment while assisting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopes

  • Pass instruments during procedures (e.g., colonoscopies)

  • Handle pathology specimens, monitor patient vitals, and clean/restock suites post-procedure

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET)REQUIRED credential

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association

  • Experience- 1–2 years in healthcare preferred

  • Must know infection control, medical terminology, and have the physical stamina to stand for long periods
