Job Description

The Process Technician supports a 1st shift manufacturing operation by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that production equipment runs safely and efficiently. This role works with a variety of machinery, including robotics, molding machines, thermolators, and air compressors, and plays a key part in minimizing downtime and maintaining consistent production quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to help keep machines running smoothly.

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

• Learn machine setup procedures and help support production operations as needed.

• Identify potential equipment issues and communicate them to the maintenance team.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals.

• Work closely with production employees to address equipment concerns and keep operations moving.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Understanding of basic workplace safety practices

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment on 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You work around production equipment such as robotics, molding machines, thermolators, air compressors, and related machinery. The environment involves typical industrial conditions, including noise and moving mechanical equipment, and requires consistent adherence to established safety procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment as provided by the employer.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kokomo, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
