Job Description
Our client who is a large global bank is seeking two highly skilled AI Engineers to drive automation initiatives within Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). One engineer will focus on building an agent for their GRC Data Lake, and another will build an agent to automate controls for their RCSAs. These individuals will design and develop intelligent solutions that consolidate data from multiple security and risk platforms, automate reporting processes, and build AI-powered agents capable of executing and monitoring control activities. The role can sit remote but prefer to be by their offices in either Boston or NYC, EST hours 8-5pm est.
The ideal candidate combines strong AI engineering expertise with experience in data architecture, automation, analytics, and cybersecurity governance frameworks (GRC/RCSA skills).
Key Responsibilities GRC Data Lake & Reporting Automation

Design and build a centralized GRC data repository that aggregates data from multiple security, risk, compliance, and operational data sources.

Identify and integrate disparate data sources across the organization.

Develop automated data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.

Build AI-powered agents that collect, analyze, and summarize risk and compliance data.

Automate the production of executive-level metrics, dashboards, and presentations.

Create scalable reporting solutions that eliminate manual spreadsheet-driven processes.

Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders. AI Agent Development

Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate complex cybersecurity and risk management workflows.

Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), AI orchestration frameworks, and agent-based architectures to streamline operational activities.

Develop intelligent workflows capable of querying data sources, synthesizing information, and generating business-ready outputs.

Build solutions that leverage enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI technologies, and similar tools. Cyber GRC Process Automation

Assess Cyber Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) frameworks and control inventories.

Identify controls suitable for automation.

Design and implement automated control execution processes.

Create AI-driven solutions that generate evidence, perform validation activities, and support compliance requirements.

Partner with cybersecurity and risk teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Key Responsibilities Drive automation initiatives across Cybersecurity GRC, with an initial focus on RCSA and control management processes. Design and implement automated workflows for the collection, organization, validation, and tracking of control evidence across multiple teams and systems. Reduce manual effort associated with RCSA activities, including evidence requests, follow-ups, status tracking, control assessments, documentation, and reporting. Establish centralized tracking and workflow capabilities to provide clear visibility into evidence status, outstanding actions, ownership, due dates, exceptions, and remediation activities. Leverage AI and Generative AI to support evidence analysis, identify gaps or inconsistencies, summarize control information, and assist control owners and risk teams throughout the assessment lifecycle. Improve traceability and audit readiness by maintaining structured records of evidence, approvals, assessments, decisions, and supporting documentation. Develop dashboards and management reporting to provide real-time visibility into RCSA progress, control status, evidence completeness, overdue activities, and key risk indicators. Support regulatory, audit, and risk management activities through automated evidence collection, workflow tracking, and reporting. Identify additional opportunities to automate Cybersecurity GRC processes and establish reusable capabilities that can be scaled across other risk and control activities.
Compensation: $50/hr to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of software engineering, automation, data engineering, or AI engineering experience. -Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, agents, assistants, or automation platforms. -Strong knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and API integrations. -Experience with LLMs and AI platforms such as OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies. -Strong data integration and ETL experience. -Experience designing and implementing data repositories, data lakes, or analytics platforms (for the Governance Lake).

Experience designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline risk, compliance, and control processes -Advanced Power BI development experience.
