Job Description

Role Overview

The Lead Integration Architect provides strategic leadership for complex Oracle Health client engagements. This role leads integration, domain validation, deployment readiness, risk management, and client relationship strategy across implementation and sustainment activities.

The Lead Integration Architect sets direction across workstreams, guides senior stakeholders through complex decisions, and ensures solutions deliver the intended clinical, operational, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution for complex, integrated client engagements.

  • Direct integration, validation, testing, deployment-readiness, and stabilization activities across workstreams.

  • Establish and oversee domain, issue, risk, change, and escalation-management approaches.

  • Build executive-level client relationships and influence decisions to achieve engagement outcomes.

  • Proactively identify risks, resolve escalations, and remove barriers affecting quality, delivery, or client satisfaction.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Integration Architects and cross-functional project teams.

  • Ensure delivery commitments, timelines, solution quality, and client value objectives are achieved.

  • Partner with internal leadership to improve solution stability, implementation methods, and delivery consistency.

  • Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement across the practice.

  • Establish reusable integration architecture patterns, governance practices, and decision frameworks that can be adopted across related engagements.

Expectations

  • Operate with substantial autonomy across moderately complex client engagements and integration workstreams, applying sound judgment to decisions involving multiple variables.

  • Lead project- or process-level improvements that strengthen delivery quality, scalability, readiness, or risk management; translate lessons learned into reusable standards, playbooks, or practices.

  • Influence execution and decision-making across immediate and related teams, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations to engagement and practice leadership.

  • Serve as a trusted technical and delivery advisor for complex integration, validation, deployment-readiness, and sustainment issues; anticipate risks and lead practical mitigation.

  • Mentor and provide execution oversight for less-experienced associates, encouraging diverse viewpoints, knowledge sharing, and consistent delivery practices.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Oracle Health integration and implementation practices, with broad working knowledge of at least one specialized domain relevant to the engagement.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of combined relevant professional experience and higher education.

  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Health integration and implementation practices, with demonstrated ability to lead moderately complex technical and operational decisions independently.

  • At least 5 years of healthcare IT consulting, client-facing technology, implementation, or solution-delivery experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements, technical workstreams, or implementation teams.

  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder-management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive decisions across diverse stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 80% as needed.

  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts and must be based on U.S. soil.

  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Health or Cerner Millennium implementation experience.

  • Experience establishing reusable architecture patterns, delivery standards, governance approaches, or improvement practices adopted by multiple teams or engagements.

  • Experience leading domain management, test-environment management, integration, solution validation, or deployment readiness.

  • Healthcare industry expertise and strong understanding of clinical workflows.

  • Experience with large-scale implementations, optimization, post-go-live stabilization, or sustainment.

  • Prior people leadership, team-lead, or mentoring experience.

  • Project Management Professional certification or comparable project-management experience.
