Work Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $22.95-$22.95/hr

Tessera is seeking a expert and driven Real Property Inspector with a professional attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct real property facility inspections in accordance with AR 405-45 requirements.

  • Inspect buildings and facilities to validate inventory records and identify discrepancies.

  • Collect, verify, and document facility information during inspections.

  • Enter inspection results accurately into GFEBS Real Property Module (RE80).

  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy real property files.

  • Update facility inspection records and ensure data accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate hand receipt listings of assigned facilities.

  • Support annual inspection goals and meet assigned inspection schedules.

  • Prepare documentation and supporting records required for audit compliance.

  • Coordinate with facility occupants and installation personnel during inspections.

  • Operate government vehicles in accordance with installation policies.

  • Maintain accountability for government-issued keys and key cards.

  • Immediately report lost, damaged, or missing keys/key cards.

  • Provide monthly progress updates as requested.

  • Perform other related duties supporting the real property inventory program.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a high school education & be able to read effectively to read addresses

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with real property accountability and GFEBS (specifically RE80 – Real Property Module)

  • Have familiarity with Geographic Information Systems

  • Have a working knowledge of report generation capabilities within SAP applications (specifically GFEBS)

  • Be familiar with the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 and associated authoritative governing documents to comply with CFOA audit requirements

  • Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Possess valid driver’s license and be able to drive

  • Be proficient in computer data entry.

  • Have computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Be customer service oriented.

  • Have attended the Defense Driving Course (DDC), presented by the Installation Safety Office, prior to operation of a Government vehicle.

  • Be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
