Position Overview

About the Role:

The Omnichannel and Content Operations team is dedicated to driving innovation, building and delivering capabilities that enhance Otsuka’s opportunity to positively impact the lives of patients we serve. The Omnichannel Business Partner is a part of the Omnichannel and Content Operations team responsible for leading and being a champion of the adoption & integration of omnichannel capabilities across assigned therapeutic areas. This position acts as an embedded strategic advisor to Brand, Medical, and Commercial leadership teams, helping shape customer engagement strategies, omnichannel transformation initiatives, and data-driven business decisions. This role plays a key role in connecting brand strategy, analytics, and orchestration capabilities by translating business objectives into scalable customer engagement solutions and converting engagement insights into actionable business recommendations.

Job Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Brand, Medical, and Commercial leadership, contributing to the development of customer engagement strategy and plans informed by deep customer insights and analytics

  • Translate business objectives into data-driven and scalable omnichannel customer engagement strategies.

  • Influence senior stakeholders by bringing an outside-in perspective on customer needs, market trends, and commercial opportunities.

  • Customer Strategy, Measurement & Optimization

  • Lead the development of customer engagement strategies aligned to brand objectives, customer journeys, and key moments that matter.

  • Design and execute integrated customer experiences across personal and non-personal channels.

  • Apply expertise in pharmaceutical marketing, digital engagement, CRM, and customer experience design to enhance customer interactions across channels.

  • Define measurement frameworks to evaluate and continually optimize engagement performance, business impact, and customer behavior change.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Brand, Medical, Analytics, Technology, and Omnichannel teams to operationalize customer engagement strategies.

  • Identify risks, remove barriers, and drive organizational adoption of new capabilities, processes, and ways of working.

  • Lead initiatives from concept through implementation while ensuring stakeholder alignment and delivery.

  • Foster strong partnerships and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate strong judgment, accountability, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, omnichannel strategy, digital marketing, commercial operations, consulting, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams within complex matrix organizations.

  • Experience with AI-enabled targeting, decision engines, customer orchestration, or advanced customer engagement approaches.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory, legal, and medical review processes.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Pharmaceutical brand marketing experience preferred.

  • Launch/pre-launch commercialization experience.

  • Experience designing operating models, transformation initiatives, or enterprise customer engagement frameworks.

  • Specialty or rare disease experience.

  • MBA or equivalent business experience.

Minimum $169,222.00 - Maximum $253,000.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
