Description
We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to support transportation, distribution, and supply chain activities for a growing operation in Arden Hills, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in logistics coordination who can help maintain efficient product movement across domestic and global channels. The role focuses on analyzing shipment activity, improving day-to-day logistics execution, and partnering with internal teams and external providers to keep supply chain operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to help ensure timely delivery and accurate movement of goods across the supply chain.

Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to resolve transportation issues and maintain continuity in distribution activities.

Review logistics data and shipment trends to identify delays, cost concerns, and opportunities to improve service performance.

Support global and domestic logistics processes by helping manage documentation, scheduling, and communication related to freight movement.

Track key supply chain metrics and prepare reports that help teams make informed decisions on logistics performance.

Assist with inventory flow and distribution planning to align product availability with operational needs.

Investigate delivery exceptions, shortages, or routing problems and recommend practical solutions to minimize disruption.

Contribute to logistics process updates and operational changes, including support for internal system-related workflow adjustments when required.
Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or a related supply chain function.

Working knowledge of domestic and global logistics coordination principles and shipment tracking practices.

Ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and support effective problem resolution.

Experience communicating with cross-functional teams, carriers, suppliers, or distribution partners with strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with supply chain logistics processes, including scheduling, documentation, and movement of goods.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency with standard business software and reporting tools used to support logistics analysis and coordination.
