British Swim School – Cudahy, WI
Full-Time Leadership Position | Starting at $60,000+, based on experience
Build Great Instructors. Develop Confident Swimmers. Grow Something Meaningful.
British Swim School Cudahy is looking for an experienced aquatics professional and strong people leader to take ownership of our growing swim program.
We're not simply looking for someone to manage a pool or supervise shifts. We're looking for someone who understands what makes a great swim program — exceptional instructors, consistent teaching, measurable swimmer progress, happy families, and a team that takes pride in what they do.
As our Aquatics Program Director, you'll be responsible for developing our instructional team, maintaining the quality and consistency of our lessons, creating an outstanding experience for families, and driving enrollment growth at our Cudahy location.
You'll also oversee daily site operations, including staffing, facility readiness, pool safety, and coordination with our pool partner.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to help shape the future of British Swim School in the Cudahy community.
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
-
Previous professional experience in aquatics, swim instruction, swim program management, or a closely related aquatic environment
-
Demonstrated experience leading, training, or developing employees
-
Strong understanding of swim instruction, water safety, and the importance of consistent instructional standards
-
Ability to coach instructors, evaluate performance, and hold team members accountable
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families
-
Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage daily operations
Highly preferred:
-
Experience managing or developing a swim lesson program
-
Experience training and mentoring swim instructors
-
Previous responsibility for enrollment growth, customer retention, or program development
-
Experience with adaptive aquatics or inclusive swim programming
We're looking for someone who brings bothaquatics knowledge and leadership ability. We will provide training in British Swim School's methodology, but candidates should already have a foundation in aquatics and experience developing people.
Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
Working at British Swim School is more than just a job; it’s a chance to create a lasting impact that could change a child's life.
As part of the British Swim School Team, you play a role in your local community, empowering others and sharing your passion. It’s a chance to be part of a fun-loving team of dedicated people who are committed to promoting water safety and a lifelong love of the water.
While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee (franchise owner). Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. All inquiries about employment at this franchisee should be made directly to the franchise location, and not to British Swim School Corporate.
