Description
The Senior Patient Services Specialist functions as an integral team member of the Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center providing support and clinical coordination of multiple patient care services. The Senior PSS exercises independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties.

Required Qualifications:

Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course

Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree --or--Equivalent from a college or technical school.

1 year of related experience in a heathcare setting (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
