Full job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant position for our client.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

  • Lead Workday HCM functional delivery, configuration, and client consulting.

  • Configure and support Workday Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Security, Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll .

  • Lead requirements gathering, client meetings, workshops, solution design, and recommendations using Workday best practices.

  • Partner directly with HR and business stakeholders to optimize Workday business processes.

  • Lead Workday teams and coordinate with offshore resources, deliverables, and status updates.

  • Troubleshoot configuration and production issues; support testing, data validation, training, and post-go-live activities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Senior-level Workday HCM functional consulting experience.

  • Strong Workday Core HCM and Advanced Compensation expertise.

  • Hands-on Workday Security configuration experience.

  • Experience with Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll .

  • Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, business processes, and implementation methodologies.

  • Experience leading Workday teams and client-facing HR engagements.

  • Excellent consulting, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience coordinating offshore teams and translating business requirements into Workday solutions.

  • Workday certification preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
