Full job description

Pharmacy Technician

Location: West Sacramento, CA

Pay: $26/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday initially; may transition to Sunday–Thursday based on business needs. Mandatory overtime may be required.

Job Summary

Adecco Healthcare & LifeSciences is looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to work in a high-volume automated pharmacy production environment. Responsible for accurately filling, packaging, replenishing, and shipping prescriptions while maintaining productivity, quality, and patient privacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fill prescription vials accurately and efficiently.

  • Replenish automated dispensing cells and scan medication inventory.

  • Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Handle specialty and cold-chain prescriptions.

  • Pack and ship medications while following HIPAA requirements.

  • Identify issues and escalate concerns to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • California Pharmacy Technician license required.

  • PTCB certification preferred.

  • 1+ year of pharmacy, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

  • Basic math and computer/scanning skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment.

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday to start.

  • After approximately 4 weeks, schedule may change to Sunday–Thursday.

  • Sunday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

  • Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

  • Schedule is subject to business needs and management direction.

  • Mandatory overtime may be required.

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
