The Role
This role is a generic classification engaged in research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical. The Candidate will lead a team to support Build Strategy efforts for Submarines and Surface Ships; collaborate across divisions to support strategic initiatives and identify standardization opportunities for cross-program alignment.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Nice to Have
