Minimum Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) required 1-3 months related experience required Strong written and oral communication skills Basic computer knowledge required. Must be able to utilize database software, inventory software, order-processing systems, and word-processing software. Must be able to regularly lift/move 50-75 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 75-100 pounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read customer orders, vendor packing slips, transfers, and RGAs to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information. Pack and verify customer orders. Verify amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Relay discrepancies to proper personnel.
