Maintenance Manager

This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13657551 Primary Purpose: To ensure district facilities and grounds are well-cared for and adequate to meet\ district needs.\ Qualifications:\ Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent,\ Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. Ability to\ interact in a positive manner with others. Able to work in a busy environment with many disruptions.\ Experience: Previous experience in maintenance and/or managerial role.\ Major Responsibilities and Duties: Assist and support the Director of Maintenance with the day to day maintenance functions. Perform routine maintenance and daily inspection of equipment. Support Director of Maintenance with implementation of district procedures. Help supervise and support maintenance repair technicians in the field. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Keep maintenance records and be able to report on activities. Perform repairs and service on kitchen equipment. Assist with snow removal as necessary. Responds to facility emergencies as needed, on call, including after hours.
