Job Summary

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION

Charleston, SC | $90,000–$100,000 | Relocation Assistance Available

We’re looking for candidates who have led contract foodservice operations at the Director level or served as a Director of Food and Nutrition within a hospital. If you know how to build a strong team, deliver quality food and earn a client’s trust, we want to hear from you.

As Senior Director of Dining Services, you’ll lead daily foodservice operations, manage financial performance and develop your team. You’ll be a visible, hands-on leader who sets clear expectations and keeps service moving forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily foodservice operations with a focus on food quality, service and patient satisfaction.

  • Manage budgets, purchasing, inventory and food costs to meet financial goals.

  • Build strong relationships with hospital leadership and departments.

  • Hire, coach and develop a team that takes pride in its work.

  • Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation and equipment maintenance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operations and deliver greater value to the client.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Director-level experience in contract foodservice or hospital Food and Nutrition Services.

  • At least five years of proven leadership experience.

  • Two to four years of direct foodservice operations management, including purchasing and inventory control.

  • Experience managing budgets and P&L performance.

  • Strong knowledge of food production, catering, sanitation and cost controls.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience.

  • ServSafe certification preferred.

  • A proactive, approachable leadership style with strong communication and team-building skills.
