Your responsibilities

  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and CAPA implementation for equipment issues, process deviations, batch failures, and yield improvements.

  • Manage technology transfer, process scale-up, and new product introductions from pilot development through commercial manufacturing.

  • Develop and execute validation activities, including equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), PPQ, and process revalidation, while partnering with cross-functional teams to qualify new equipment.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, technical documentation, engineering reviews, and adherence to cGMP and regulatory requirements.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical discipline, with 4-6 years of engineering experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience supporting technology transfer, process scale-up, validation, and commercial manufacturing operations within cGMP-regulated facilities.

  • Strong expertise in oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing processes and equipment, with working knowledge of liquid and semi-solid manufacturing operations and associated processing systems.

  • Demonstrated experience with equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), process validation, FDA/cGMP compliance, deviation investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and CAPA implementation.

  • Proven ability to optimize manufacturing processes, develop technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies.
