Job Duties

Start Date: 12/15/2026

End Date: 09/15/2027

Work hours: 60 hours/week, Monday - Saturday 10 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Job Duties:

Beginning in December we need help feeding cattle to ensure proper nutrition and weight, so they are ready for sale in February. We also need help through the winter servicing our equipment and with general farm labor including snow removal. We also need help in the spring once planting season starts with planting crops and ensuring crops are maintained in order to have a successful harvest next fall. Employees will operate tractor and grain drill, corn planter for planting season and payloader and tractor and feed wagon for feeding cattle.

Minimum Education Required

None. No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of 2 months of agricultural experience is required.

Able to obtain Class D Driver's License within 30 days of hire.

Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures and frequent stooping or bending over.

Additional Compensation

Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
