Precision AQ is an award-winning global healthcare market access consultancy. We help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies navigate the complex healthcare landscape through health economics and outcomes research, global pricing and access strategy, market analytics, payer engagement, physician pull-through, and data management solutions. Our work helps clients make informed decisions that improve patient access to innovative therapies and support successful product commercialization. We are seeking motivated, intellectually curious Summer 2027 Interns to join our Market Access Consulting team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on consulting experience while working alongside industry experts on real client engagements. As an intern, you will function in a role similar to a full-time Analyst, contributing directly to project teams and client deliverables. Depending on business needs and project availability, you may be staffed on a single project for the duration of the internship or support multiple projects throughout the summer. This is a full-time, paid internship with a minimum commitment of eight weeks during Summer 2027. What You Can Expect During your internship, you will:
- Work closely with project teams to understand client objectives, project plans, timelines, and key deliverables.
- Learn how market access consulting supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
- Gain exposure to a variety of therapeutic areas and healthcare challenges.
- Develop research, analytical, and presentation skills through meaningful project work.
- Participate in a structured intern program, including networking and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research using internal and external sources to address client business questions.
- Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Support the development of strategic recommendations based on research findings and market insights.
- Identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions from complex information.
- Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and problem-solving discussions.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Participate in project team meetings and support follow-up activities.
- Seek, receive, and incorporate feedback from team members and project leaders.
- Support business development initiatives and proposal development activities as needed.
- Participate in a collaborative intern project alongside fellow Summer 2027 interns.
Qualifications Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MBA, or other relevant degree program.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029 for undergraduate students, or within one year of graduation for advanced degree candidates.
- Academic concentration in Life Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Business, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consulting, or market access.
Preferred
- Previous internship, research, or leadership experience.
- Experience analyzing data and presenting findings.
- Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
