As a member of Lockheed Martin’s Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Submarine Navigation System team, your efforts will be an integral part to ensuring that our delivered product meets this requirement.

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform requirements analysis and software design, software implementation, and software qualification testing. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C/C++ and software development lifecycle activities. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

  • Experience with C, C++ or Java

  • Experience with Linux

  • Experience with software versioning system (i.e. Git)

  • Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with software development environments

  • Python

  • DOORS

  • Software and System level testing experience

  • Knowledge of object oriented programming

  • User Interface development

  • Real-time operating systems

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to complete work within defined schedules

Pay Information

  • $88189.00 - $146163.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
