  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Safety & Compliance: Ability to follow all company safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is a requirement for this role.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels and notify supervisors of any shortages or issues.

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in fragrance or flavor compounding is strongly preferred.

  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.

  • Basic knowledge of lab equipment.

  • A trained or highly sensitive nose, with strong familiarity of olfactive families and fragrance structures

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Ways to Stand Out:

  • Have a memorized understanding of the properties and interactions of commonly used essential oils, aroma chemicals, and resins

  • Formal training in perfumery (ISIPCA, GIP, Grasse Institute, ESP, or other Perfumery Training)

  • Experience in a fragrance house, brand, or evaluation lab

  • Understand the order of addition for certain raw materials and the reasons behind it.

What We Offer:

  • Catered Lunch — Mon/Wed/Fri; Newark, NJ and Brooklyn shuttles

  • 401(k) savings plan and employer match

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a high-growth company

  • Flexible PTO and paid family leave

  • Commuter benefits (pre-tax transit and parking)

If this role inspires you we’d encourage you to apply. We are committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining an incredible team optimized for a diversity of thought, background, and approaches.
