NOW HIRING: COOKS – ROUX Join the Team at Our New Restaurant in Summit!
Roux, a new restaurant from 40North Restaurants / Villa Restaurant Group, is coming to Summit, NJ, and we’re looking for talented and dependable Cooks to join our team!
If you have a passion for food, enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in creating great dining experiences, we want to meet you!

Thursday, October 8 | 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday, October 9 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Cook Responsibilities
-
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and restaurant standards
-
Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
-
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
-
Properly store and label food and ingredients
-
Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup
-
Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
-
Maintain proper portion control and minimize food waste
-
Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
-
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
-
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
-
Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures
-
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
