Full job description

LOCATION: Northeastern Regional Information Center – Cooperative Virtual Learning Academy (physical location of employee is at the discretion of BOCES in consultation with the teacher)

BASIC FUNCTION:

To provide counseling and guidance services for students and teachers throughout the school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide services to students in all grade levels.

Job Qualifications

  • NYS certification in School Counseling/Guidance.

  • Experience with students with social/emotional needs.

  • Experience with all grade levels preferred.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
