Location Details: Remote - India
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
The Managed SSL (MSSL) team plays a critical role in supporting GoDaddy's Website Security customers. The team assists with SSL certificate validation, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across a variety of hosting environments and content management systems, helping customers keep their websites secure and trusted.
What you'll get to do...

Deliver world-class technical support to Managed SSL customers via email

Request, validate, install, and configure SSL certificates (DV, UCC, and Wildcard) across multiple hosting platforms

Troubleshoot SSL-related issues, including certificate errors, redirects, HTTPS configuration, and browser trust warnings

Manage customer tickets in line with defined processes, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards

Monitor escalated cases and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution

Work with Engineering and Product teams to identify and drive process improvements

Share technical knowledge, best practices, and new discoveries with peers

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Website Security organization

Develop expertise in website security technologies, firewalls, and related security services
Your experience should include...
-
Experience installing and configuring SSL certificates in Linux and Windows hosting environments
-
Understanding of the SSL certificate lifecycle, validation methods, and common SSL/TLS troubleshooting techniques
-
Familiarity with web hosting technologies including Apache, Nginx, IIS, DNS, and web server configuration
-
Experience working with popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, Magento, or Drupal

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and the OSI model
-
Knowledge of web application security concepts such as XSS, SQL Injection, security headers, and DDoS mitigation
-
Experience using SSH, command-line tools, and remote administration tools for troubleshooting and configuration

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical customer issues

Excellent written communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a global team environment
