Join the Card Marketing Finance & Business Management team, at the center of driving organizational effectiveness, strategic execution, and business performance across Marketing, Credit & Customer Experiences (MCX). MCX brings together the capabilities that shape the end-to-end Card customer journey—spanning acquisition, marketing, credit decisioning and products, rewards, customer experience, operations, activation, and transformation.

As a Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Vice President in Card Marketing, Credit & Customer Experiences (MCX), you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Card and Connected Commerce Chief Marketing & Customer Officer (CMO) and MCX Leadership Team. You’ll help shape and execute the strategic and management agenda—leading priorities across strategic planning, financial and business management, organizational effectiveness, executive communications, and transformation. You will partner with senior leaders across Card, Finance, HR, Communications, and Strategy to drive alignment, accelerate initiatives, and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CMO and MCX Leadership Team, helping shape priorities, drive execution, and identify and escalate key business risks and opportunities

  • Represent the organization in senior leadership forums and cross-functional working groups

  • Lead executive business management and performance routines, including management reporting, business reviews, scorecards, OKRs, governance frameworks, and decision-making processes

  • Own organizational and financial planning, including workforce strategy, headcount management, expense governance, and financial reporting in close partnership with Card P&A

  • Drive strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs that advance business priorities, streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen MCX’s operating model

  • Shape and manage key leadership forums and organizational events (e.g., leadership meetings, business reviews, town halls, offsites, all-hands), overseeing agendas, executive content, operating rhythms, and execution

  • Build organizational capability and a high-performing culture by mentoring and developing junior team members and promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, business management, strategy, finance, consulting, chief of staff, or related functions

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior executives and influencing decision-making across large, complex, matrixed organizations

  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling materials for senior audiences

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience interpreting business performance, financial results, and organizational metrics to inform strategic decisions

  • Proven strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution capabilities, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and drive outcomes through influence in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro+), with the ability to translate analysis into executive-ready insights and presentations

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in a Business Management, Chief of Staff, Strategy, or similar leadership role, with a track record of translating strategic priorities into business outcomes

  • Experience leading organizational planning, workforce strategy, and financial governance processes within a large, complex organization

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to transform ways of working, including integrating AI-enabled tools into business processes to improve efficiency, enhance insights, and elevate decision-making
