GCP DevOps Engineer

Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure within GCP using Terraform.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, modules, and deployment standards.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.

• Administer and support containerized environments using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.

• Implement cloud networking, IAM, security controls, monitoring, and governance best practices.

• Automate operational processes, system provisioning, and environment management.

• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and AI teams to support cloud-native application deployments.

• Support AI/ML infrastructure including Vertex AI, model deployment pipelines, vector databases, and related cloud services.

• Monitor platform performance, reliability, availability, and cost optimization.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application performance issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable module design and state management.

• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization technologies.

• Strong scripting skills with Python, Bash, or Go.

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, and security best practices.

• Experience with Git-based version control and DevOps workflows.
