Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Section Manager to join the DM6 team in Dallas. Generally, the second-highest level engineering position in the factory, this role reports to the Engineering Branch Manager, and oversees and provides leadership to lower-level engineering managers and supervisors within a particular engineering section. In this role, you will oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. You may also ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acting as liaison with engineering in releasing new products is a central to this role. Key responsibilities include developing systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. As an Engineering Section Manager, you may also develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Minimum requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related engineering degree

5+ years of experience within a Semiconductor Fab
-
3+ years of experience budling, developing, and leading a high performing engineering team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
