Full job description
About the Role As Enterprise Sales Manager, Cyber, you will build and lead a team of Account Directors focused on strategic growth with leading cyber companies and enterprise security organizations. Your team will help customers apply OpenAI’s platform to their products and internal workflows while navigating the security, privacy, and governance requirements of deploying AI at scale. You’ll coach the team through complex sales cycles involving security, product, engineering, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders. You’ll also help shape our approach to this evolving market, turning early adoption into lasting customer partnerships. In this role, you will:
-
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Directors.
-
Coach senior sellers through deal reviews, account planning, customer meetings, and structured 1:1s.
-
Define the cyber go-to-market strategy, including customer segmentation, account prioritization, partner opportunities, executive engagement, and territory planning.
-
Drive pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and strong operating discipline.
-
Guide complex opportunities involving CISOs, security leaders, product and engineering teams, legal, risk, procurement, and executives.
-
Help customers identify measurable ways to apply AI across security products and workflows, including analyst productivity, investigations, incident response, and software security.
-
Partner with Product, Solutions Architecture, Technical Success, Legal, Security, Finance, and policy experts to support responsible deployment.
-
Share customer feedback on product needs, integration blockers, data protection and governance requirements, and emerging cyber use cases.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
-
15+ years of enterprise sales, GTM, or sales leadership experience, including substantial experience in cyber.
-
A proven track record building and scaling teams responsible for large, complex strategic accounts and significant revenue targets.
-
Deep understanding of how cyber companies and enterprise security teams evaluate, buy, deploy, and expand technical platforms.
-
Experience building new go-to-market motions and growing adoption beyond initial deployments.
-
The ability to coach senior sellers through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
-
Technical fluency across APIs, cloud and enterprise architecture, data platforms, AI/ML concepts, and security buying requirements.
-
Strong operating rigor across forecasting, pipeline health, territory planning, and performance management.
-
Executive presence and a low-ego, collaborative leadership style.
-
Experience with consumption-based platforms, AI-enabled security products, or public-company sales operations is a plus.
