Software Developer

Job Duties

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications using the Spring Boot framework following microservices architecture principles. Implement schema-driven RESTful APIs with structured JSON payloads to support system-to-system data exchange. Develop containerized services and deploy applications. Configure and manage application deployments on cloud infrastructure. Implement data persistence layers using relational databases and NoSQL databases. Develop event-driven components using distributed messaging systems. Write unit tests and integration tests using industry-standard testing frameworks to validate application logic, data handling, and service interactions. Develop user interfaces to support internal application tooling. Implement logging and monitoring using standardized JSON logs and observability platforms. Analyze application errors and performance metrics to identify defects and implement corrective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to review API contracts, data schemas, and integration specifications. Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews. Design, test, and implement automated workflows and triggers using Apex. Will use tools/technology/skills like Salesforce, Salesforce AppExchange, API integrations, Plaid.

Work site: 1600 Utica Avenue South, Suite 650, St. Louis Park, MN 55416. Position is based out of and reports to Concord’s HQ in St. Louis Park, MN but allows for the option to telecommute from home anywhere in the U.S. and may be required to travel to and work from unanticipated client sites throughout US. Travel is anticipated to be up to 50% depending on work requirements. Concord requires all new hires to undergo background checks.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline

Minimum Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline and six months of experience as a developer or analyst or related working in Business and/or IT experience, professional services like software solutions services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.

Must have six months of experience in the following skills/tools/technologies:

• Designing, testing, and implementing automated workflows and triggers using Apex

• Salesforce, Salesforce AppExchange, API integrations, Plaid
