We are searching for the best talent for an Operations Intern

Purpose: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to assist with various improvement projects within Operations, Engineering, Quality, Reliability, and other partners. This internship will contribute to manufacturing performance, process improvement, equipment support, documentation, and implementation of site priorities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Process Mapping and Improvement: Assist with process performance, identifying issues, and helping coordinate follow-up actions. Collect, organize, analyze, and communicate operational data using Microsoft Excel and other available systems.

  • Technology Integration: Support the exploration / implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance data collaboration and visualization within Operations. Assist with continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, equipment reliability, and productivity.

  • Document Best Practices: Create or update work instructions, standard work, reports, presentations, and other manufacturing documentation.

  • Additional Projects: Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and shop-floor activities; communicate status, risks, and results clearly. Maintain active, regular communication with internal and cross-functional team members.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Preferred fields of study include Engineering, Industrial and Systems, Operations, or Computer Engineering; Supply Chain, or a closely related technical discipline may also be considered.

  • Candidates must be available either May – August or June - September 2027.

  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited bachelor’s or graduate degree program with a technical, operations, or manufacturing focus.

  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization / AI tools is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about supply chain operations and processes.

Candidate Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship requirements.

  • Remain actively enrolled in their academic program throughout the entire internship period.

  • Be available to work 40 hours per week during the internship.

  • Should have a minimum GPA of 3

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
