Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Technician to join a leading client in Dallas and Sherman, TX. This individual will be a part of a large semiconductor project for a major client in the area. This individual will be involved in morning meetings, toolbox talks, terminations, tubing to detection, coordination, referring to drawings, communication on daily status, etc. This individual should have strong attention to detail and a safety mindset. This individual should have great communication skills and an eager mindset to learn.

Skills and Requirements

  • Technical or trades background and a minimum 3+ years of experience in the instrumentation and controls field

  • Experience with implementing PLC based control systems

  • Knowledge of process instruments, communications networks and protocols, P&ID diagrams, and electrical control diagrams

  • Experience with instrument specifications and calibrations

  • Ability to wire and troubleshoot loop powered and field powered instrumentation, relays, and power supplies
