Job Summary

The Plan Document Coordinator is responsible for preparing booklet-certificates and/or group policies for new, amending, and renewing client benefit plans with complex, non-standard benefits and/or eligibility provisions. Order, work timely, and ensure accurate booklet certificates and/or policies are generated through the document design system.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry

  • Solid understanding of benefit plan designs

  • Detail oriented, organized, ability to adapt to large volume work, and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet hard deadlines

  • Ability to investigate and problem solve

  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers

  • Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure

  • Proficient in MS Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to provide exemplary service to internal and external customer

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • College degree or advanced education in the insurance industry (CEBS, HIAA, or LOMA)

Experience with Adobe, Acrobat

Understanding of benefit certificate formats and layouts, including the ability to review, interpret, and support benefit plan documentation.

Experience supporting health insurance plans through proposal development, amendment preparation, and ongoing client support activities.

This is a Telecommute (Remote) role. Remote employees must live within the continental United States, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii or New York.
