Description
We are looking for an Accountant to own cost accounting, inventory valuation, month-end close, and variance analysis while partnering closely with plant leadership. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on plant performance, drive process improvements, and grow within a strong manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities:

Manage standard costs, inventory valuation, and ERP accuracy

Analyze manufacturing variances, scrap, and inventory reserves
-
Lead month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and plant P& L reporting
-
Provide variance analysis and key financial/operational metrics
-
Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capital projects, and production planning

Track capital expenditures and maintain fixed asset records
-
Ensure GAAP/internal control compliance and support audits

Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.

Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.

Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
