Are you a highly motivated leader eager to continue your career in program management? The Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) organization in Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) business area is seeking a motivated Program Manager II to join our team in the Compact Countermeasure Solutions (CCS) portfolio. In CEMA, we provide next generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to ensure unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. This role is ideal for a person with program execution experience who is seeking full ownership of workscope and is ready to further develop their program management and leadership skills.

In this role you will:

  • Join a highly dedicated and mission-focused team that provides critical electronic warfare solutions in support of the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line.

  • Work closely with the functional leads to drive successful program execution and business objectives.

  • Create a meaningful cutlure within the team that thrives on collaboration, partnership, and team success.

  • Be results-oriented, have a disciplined process management skillset, and drive cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution.

  • Prepare and/or review project execution plans and other documentation.

  • Be intimately involved in budget/financial planning and reporting.

  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills through to leadership and customers.

  • Develop customer relationships with regular communication.

  • Drive program/contract success by delivering on our commitments in accordance with the expected behaviors, processes and guidance

This program has a need for consistent in-person collaboration and many job requirements must be done on site because of the nature of this particular role. Therefore full time on-site work is preferred although occasional hybrid work is possible. This means the majority of work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility (NCA)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • US Citizen with Secret clearance and ability to achieve SAP/SAR

  • Bachelors degree in a technical or business related discipline

  • At least ten (10) years Defense industry experience

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead multi-functional teams

  • Experience manageing, coordinating, planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and executing a projects or collection of projects.

  • Experience driving successful project execution to achieve financial, schedule, and technical commitments.

  • Experience in Risks and Opportunities (R&O) management to drive project success

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate complex information effectively to various audiences

  • Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience across various phases of the program lifecycle, with a focus on production

  • Experience in managing and overseeing subcontractor relationships and/or material procurement

  • Experience working in or with factories across various sites.

  • Experience interfacing with external customers

  • Experience as a Control Account Manager / Earned Value Management

  • Experience working Firm Fixed Price contracts

  • Experience leading proposals

  • Experience leading and mentoring others

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
