Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in customer-facing technical consulting, product management, or solution architecture.

  • Experience building software or proof-of-concepts using JavaScript, Python, and SQL.

  • Experience integrating advertising technologies, APIs, or data pipelines.

  • Experience evaluating system architectures and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a technical field, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 2 years of experience in online advertising, data analysis, or operations management.

  • Experience configuring or troubleshooting CRM architectures like Salesforce or HubSpot.

  • Demonstrated coding proficiency with Java or Python, and ability to construct complex SQL queries.

  • Ability to independently manage projects and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

The Product Deployment Engineering team for Measurement Services, gTech Ads GCS, provides exceptional complex measurement implementation for Google’s top GCS advertising clients.

As a Product Deployment Engineer, gTech Ads, you will be a key advisor to Google’s customers and serve as the definitive regional service authority for a specific product area. You will bridge the gap between implementation consultancy and engineering, ensuring that Google’s gTech Ads engineering capabilities are deployed for high-impact business challenges that directly activate customer revenue and drive campaign performance.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $126000 - $180000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive stakeholders in customer or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services.

  • Provide feedback on product requirement documents (PRDs) and design documents, may author or actively lead PRDs, particularly around the developer experience.

  • Review product requirement documents (PRDs) to record product specifications, validate PRDs to ensure customer/partner and internal needs are met.

  • Scale existing or create repeatable solutions (e.g., best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code) and ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions.

  • Drive solution code development in collaboration with internal or external developers, users, partners, clients, or stakeholders (as needed).
