SECRET Electrical Test Technician

Job Description

An employer is looking to add 2 Electrical Test Technicians to their team located in the Lancaster, CA area. The Electrical Test & Instrumentation Technician will support testing, maintenance, and modification efforts on the T-7A Red Hawk aircraft in a hangar environment. This individual will be responsible for interpreting electrical schematics, performing electrical fabrication and troubleshooting, and supporting instrumentation systems through sensor installation and replacement. Daily responsibilities include routing and installing wiring, terminating connectors, performing electrical hookups, and conducting system checkouts to ensure aircraft readiness. The technician will work closely with engineering and test teams to diagnose and resolve electrical issues while adhering to strict safety standards, including fall protection requirements when working at elevated heights. Candidates must be flexible to support various shifts based on operational needs and successfully complete all required training certifications.

Skills and Requirements

-5 years of experience within Electrical Fabrication -Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics -Active Secret clearance -Ability to perform wiring installation, routing, connector terminations, hookups, and system checkouts -Strain Gage -Small wiring -Working in a hanger
