Senior GL Accountant | Real Estate Investment Firm | Foster City

Join a privately owned real estate investment and development company with a lean, entrepreneurial team and a complex multi-entity structure. This is a high-visibility role working directly with leadership, with the opportunity to understand the business beyond the numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own GL accounting across multiple entities

• Understand entity relationships and overall business structure

• Review accounting activity for accuracy and consistency

• Oversee repetitive accounting work and delegate to junior support

• Partner with leadership to understand business drivers

• Take on higher-level accounting responsibilities as knowledge grows

• Support ad hoc projects and broader business initiatives

Requirements

• CPA required

• Yardi experience

• Public accounting, Big 4 audit/tax, or hands-on industry experience

• Multi-entity accounting experience strongly preferred

• Analytical, curious, and strong problem solver

• Confident, resilient, and comfortable with direct feedback

• Organized, proactive, and ready to take ownership
