The Loan Funding Specialist is responsible for accurately uploading and funding the completed Commercial and Agricultural Loans to the system of record, disbursing funds along with reviewing and reconciling General Ledgers, paying fees/invoices to vendors, producing cashier's checks or wire transfers as applicable. Actively communicating with Commercial Loan Processors, Team Lead, Lending teams and Commercial Banking Assistants. As a Loan Funding Specialist, you will: Work directly with the Loan Processors in uploading Loan requests for booking of loans to the system of record. Communicate with the Lending teams and Commercial Banking Assistants for correct disbursements to general ledgers associated with new loans. Complete transactions to advance loan proceeds, general Ledger transfers, appraisal, and vendor payments along with creation of cashier checks. Assist the Loan Funding Team Lead with reconciliation of department general ledgers and review of reporting on a regular basis. Clear and maintain Teller system for daily/monthly batching of transactions. Maintain a fluid workflow and timeline of assigned tasks to meet requests of the Lending teams and Commercial Banking Assistants. Assist in the creation and completion of current policies, procedures, and resources for the department in daily functions and tasks to system of record.
