Act as primary administrator and subject matter expert for the FitUp activation platform Manage system setup, configuration, maintenance, and governance Conduct data audits and resolve data integrity issues Track activation milestones, readiness metrics, and project progress Maintain dashboards and executive reporting tools Develop presentations and summaries for leadership teams Deliver FitUp user training sessions and create job aids Provide ongoing end-user support and troubleshooting Coordinate with FreightTrain vendor for enhancements and issue resolution Work across departments to ensure activation tasks are updated and completed Support workflow design, process documentation, and gap analysis Coordinate tabletop exercises, simulations, and Day-in-the-Life activities Assist with testing, training logistics, and readiness validation Track Building Readiness milestones and project status updates Support go-live planning, command center operations, and move-in activities Develop and maintain workplans, templates, meeting materials, and status reports Facilitate meetings, document action items, and maintain decision logs Partner with activation leadership and readiness teams to drive project execution Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst, FitUp & Building Readiness for a leading healthcare client supporting one of Northern California's largest hospital expansion and activation initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in the activation of a new 13-story inpatient tower by serving as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the FitUp readiness platform while also supporting building readiness activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong project coordination, analytics, and stakeholder management skills to drive activation readiness throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include maintaining system data and governance, developing executive dashboards and reports, coordinating training and user adoption efforts, facilitating readiness exercises and testing events, supporting move-in and go-live activities, and partnering with leadership teams to ensure activation milestones are successfully achieved. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized healthcare operations or project professional interested in hospital activation, facility readiness, and large-scale healthcare transformation projects.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience 5+ years of professional experience Healthcare, healthcare construction, facility activation, or large-scale capital project experience Strong project coordination and project management experience Experience managing multi-workstream project schedules (Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar) Strong analytical and reporting skills Experience with dashboard creation and executive-level reporting Business process analysis and workflow design experience Excellent documentation, meeting facilitation, and communication skills Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with SharePoint, Visio, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools Ability to conduct training, create job aids, and support system adoption Data governance, data quality audits, and reporting experience PMP, CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other project management/process improvement certification Prior hospital activation experience Occupancy planning or healthcare facility transition experience Clinical operations experience Experience supporting building readiness or operational readiness initiatives Knowledge of space planning, architectural and engineering concepts Understanding of building codes, fire safety, and security principles Experience with FitUp platform or similar activation/readiness software Familiarity with UC Davis Health or University of California systems Experience within a large academic medical center environment

Compensation: $50/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
